Krispy Kale / Veggie Snack

You need:
Kale
Sea Salt
Olive Oil

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Get a plate and put olive oil on it.
Dip and rub Kale in olive oil for a single coat.
Lay Kale out on cookie sheet
Place in oven for 5-15 minutes, depending on your oven
Kale should be Krispy but not dark brown.
Add Sea Salt (regular salt is ok but sea salt is much better)

-Note- My kids did not like the texture the first time. The third time they tried it they were hooked. They love it and ask for it because it is a rather fun feeling as it crunches and falls apart in your mouth.

Under the Sea Lunch

Make your hotdogs into octopi by cutting eights legs before you cook them. I could have made the legs a little longer, they were a bit difficult to stand up.

Cook mac-n-cheese for the "water'. I used blue food coloring but it turned green when I added the cheese. If you really want it blue, make plain noodles.

Lastly, add gold fish.

They were really excited when they sat down to eat lunch!

2. Spread cheese (or other spread)
3. Decorate or have your child decorate the wings

Warning! Totally unhealthy snack ahead, oh yeah and to top it off, we are encouraging them to play with their food! Yikes!

You need: Licorice string and fruit loop type cereal.

Show your child how to string the cereal onto the licorice. If you have long enough licorice strinf tie one end so the cereal does not fall off as they try to string it. The food can be a bracelet, necklace, or just eat it. You can work "hand over hand" with your toddler.
