Why did I create this site?
I am a mother. I am also an elementary education teacher.
I like to read and find new daily activities to do with my children. This site is a collection of my own ideas and ones I have read about. I will try to keep the ideas simple. I will also try to only do activities with what you already have in your home. Playing with your child can be easy, inexpensive, and educational. These ideas are also meant to help you be a guide in your childs developing mind.
My hope is that this collection of ideas will help you
and your child have hours of fun together!

I have a 2 year old daughter who has recently gotten obsessed with the TV. I have been looking for ways to distract her from it and begging us to turn it on. I think the ideas on this website are great to try to keep her off the couch!
